INFO & FAQ's
FAQ's
Where are you based?
I'm in college, so my location changes throughout the year! Home for me is Northern California, so I'm there during breaks, and the rest of the year I'm in Auburn, Alabama.

Do you travel?
Yes, and I would love to travel to wherever you are! Travelling brings me so much joy, and I'll never pass up a reason to explore a new place!

How do travel fees work?
Travel fees vary, so once we finalize the location I'll sent you my rates for that spot. I take into account driving, flights, lodging, and time spent travelling. Any travel under an hour from where I'm currently located won't have a fee!
How does payment work?
A non-refundable 25% deposit is due when your contract is signed, and the rest of the payment will be due one week prior to the session.

What is your pricing like?
You can view my pricing here.
What camera do you shoot on?
Primarily on my Sony a7 III & Sigma Art 2.8 Lens!
Can you help me plan?
Of course! Planning sessions is so much fun and I would love to help you have the best experience for yours. Whether its outfits, locations, scheduling, storyboarding, timing, or styling, I would love to be a part of it!
Can I change outfits/locations during my shoot?
Yes of course! As I don’t charge by outfits or location changes, that part is all up to you! Want to stay in the same location for the whole 2 hours? Change your outfit every 15 minutes? Hit as many nearby parks as we can in 30 minutes? Go for it! Just know that anytime we’re changing locations or outfits is less time we’re taking photos!

Will you send raw, unedited image?
I don't provide raw, unedited files as part of my services. I take great care in selecting and editing my images and want to deliver work that meets my professional standards.

Other Info
Timing: The time of day we capture your photos affects the lighting, so it's important to know what you're looking for! Early mornings have sunrises and light that is soft, warm, and dreamy. Midday, the light is brighter, harsher, and creates more shadows. Evenings have the glow of golden hour, sunsets, and eventually blue hour after the sun falls beneath the horizon.
Location: The location you choose will be the backdrop for your images, so pick somewhere you love the look of! If you don't already have something in mind, I always have plenty of ideas, and we can figure out the perfect location to create in! It's always sweet to capture new memories in places that hold old ones, so a location that has personal meaning to you can be super special as well.
Outfits: The most important thing is for you to feel like yourself, so at the end of the day all you need to worry about is showing up in something that makes you feel confident. You're going to be moving around a lot, so something on the looser, more flowy side always looks great. It can also be fun to plan your outfit around the location, whether it's a blue dress to match the ocean or a flowy skirt that moves like the wind in the trees. Generally, I suggest lighter, more neutral colors without busy patterns as they tend to photograph best, but it's completely up to you! If you need a little extra inspiration, I'm always happy to send over some ideas.
Inspiration: Send me what inspires you for the shoot, whether its a movie, a song, photos you've saved on Pinterest, or anything else! Inspiration can be found anywhere and I want to work with you to make your creative vision come to life. I also always have lots of ideas so I would love to talk and brainstorm with you.
